Our name was inspired by the ancient navigational star guiding mariners to the "end of the river." Our years of business, FP&A, and analytics experience allow us to cut the tall grass of ambiguity and bring together technology and leading practices to create innovative ideas and approaches to optimize your planning process and deliver insights to leadership.

While projects come to an end, our relationships don’t—we are always available to ensure your business’ continued success.

Acamar Consulting was founded in 2021. We recognized that many businesses lacked forward-looking analytics to stay ahead of the economic turmoil during the pandemic.

We are based in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR. Our primary focus is on the West Coast, we assist clients anywhere in the US or Canada.

We mainly serve small- to mid-sized businesses where we can effect changes to technology, processes, and culture - pivoting towards "data as an asset".

Our focus industries include Senior Living, Non-Profits, and Distribution, and Professional Services. We have years of experience across many other industries, such as Healthcare, Media, and Travel & Leisure.

Andrew works closely with clients to develop tailored solutions to address their challenges, realize their vision, and ensure client service excellence.

Andrew more than 15 years of experience in finance, system implementations, and project management. During his time at The Walt Disney Company, Andrew was the FP&A Systems Manager for the Corporate, Media, and International segments and implemented Cognos applications for ESPN labor planning, international tax provisioning, and corporate cash flow forecasting. At Accenture, Andrew collaborated with clients on strategic cost optimization, focusing on establishing spend baselines, savings identification and impact to budget, zero-based budgeting, and ongoing controls & monitoring.

Andrew graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with B.S. degrees in Management Information Systems and Physics, received an executive education certificate from Northwestern University in Data Analytics Strategy, and is a Certified Prophix Implementer.

Brian is known for his excellent inter-personal skills and mentorship around developing a client's vision and objectives, requirements gathering, consensus-building, and issue resolution.

Brian is a Los Angeles native and graduated from Woodbury University with a Finance MBA.
